About Community Bridge Club Bateau Bay

Tigers Club

CONGRATULATIONS to Tiger Dollar Winners for February. Names are listed in "News" "Tiger Dollars".

CBC renewals are now due. This is a gentle reminder to those who haven't yet renewed that Margaret is accepting renewals at all sessions. If Margaret is otherwise engaged please put your completed renewal form and money in the box on the table.
Every Friday morning (except Public Holidays) we play a happy, relaxed session at The Entrance Leagues Club, 3 Bay Village Road, Bateau Bay. After the session many of our members enjoy a social chat over a coffee or lunch at Tigers. Visitors are always welcome.
PARTNER ARRANGEMENT:- Sorry we no longer have a standby. If you are looking for a partner, Kevin is still the person to phone 4332 5843. Ring him by 8 pm Thursday or up to 8 am Friday.
Both ABF & NSWBA are stressing the importance of correct conduct at the Bridge table. We don't seem to have any problems at our sessions, but to remind our Members, if you have any issues Kevin Hughes is our "RECORDER". Blank "system cards" are available at every session or you can print one from our website also in "documents".
Our Club, named Community Bridge Club, was established in March, 1983 in the CWA Hall at Long Jetty. In 1984 we moved to larger premises at Shelly Beach Surf Club. In 1987 we were invited by CCBC to move into their newly purchased premises at Long Jetty. Our club quickly became known as "the Friday Club" and attracted many new members. After 25 years playing at Long Jetty, we were given notice to vacate those premises. Our Committee inspected many locations, until we found the ideal venue at The Entrance Leagues Club (Tigers), 3 Bay Village Road, Bateau Bay.
All bus routes in the area service the Bateau Bay Square shopping complex, and our Club is only a short walk from the bus. Tigers has disabled access and plenty of parking is available in their car park. Read "News" for updates on Club activities.
